The Loras jazz and wind ensembles will close out the academic year with their final concerts of the Spring. Both events are open to the public.
The jazz ensemble will feature a combination of current students and alumni. Eight graduates will return to sing and play after losing out on their final concert due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The concert will feature a wide variety of jazz classics as well as some newer pieces to appeal to all audiences.
The jazz ensemble will perform at Trackside in Peosta, Iowa on Friday, May 13 at 7 p.m.
The wind ensemble concert will be a Musical Bouquet and feature a wide variety of pieces including marches, Broadway show tunes, original compositions, and American river songs.
The wind ensemble will perform at St. Joseph’s Auditorium in Hoffman Hall on Saturday, May 14 at 2 p.m.
