Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule for City of Dubuque Services

City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

There will be no trash, yard debris and food scraps, or recycling curbside collections on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24. Those Thursday collections will instead be made on the following Saturday, Nov. 26. There is no change in schedule for curbside collections on Friday, Nov. 25. The Dubuque Metro Landfill will also be closed on Thanksgiving Day but will operate normal hours on Friday and Saturday.

The Jule Transit will not operate on Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, Nov. 25, The Jule’s fixed route buses and mini-buses will operate their normal schedule and routes, however the downtown shuttle will not be operating. Parking meter, lot, and ramp violations will not be enforced Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

The Carnegie-Stout Public Library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25.For non-emergency issues during City office closures, please call 563.589.4415. In the case of an emergency, always call 911.
