Friday, Feb. 7: Hempstead High School standout Lydia Ettema’s college team wins to Detroit Mercy Titans

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Hempstead High School standout Lydia Ettema’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Detroit Mercy Titans.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Titans this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 5:40 p.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against St. Thomas Tommies.
