On Saturday, March 29, former Hempstead High School standout John Cornelius’ current college team, the Loras Duhawks, lost 10-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Wartburg Knights.

The game took place at Petrakis Park. This was their third matchup against the Knights this season.

The Duhawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at Petrakis Park against Dubuque Spartans.
