On Tuesday, March 25, former Hempstead High School standout Gracelyn Kemp’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Bradley Braves.

The game took place at Petersen Hotels Field. This was their first matchup against the Braves this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 12:05 p.m. at Marian Kneer Stadium against UIC Flames.
