Tuesday, March 18: Hempstead High School standout Lydia Ettema’s college team wins to UIC Flames

On Tuesday, March 18, former Hempstead High School standout Lydia Ettema’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UIC Flames.

The game took place at Flames Field. This was their first matchup against the Flames this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 1 p.m. at Cacciatore Stadium against Providence Friars.
