Sunday, March 16: Hempstead High School standout Zach Sabers’ college team wins to UConn Huskies

On Sunday, March 16, former Hempstead High School standout Zach Sabers’ current college team, the Campbell Fighting Camels, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UConn Huskies.

The game took place at Jim Perry Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Fighting Camels’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. at Jim Perry Stadium against Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
