Sunday, March 2: Hempstead High School standout Lydia Ettema’s college team wins to Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers

On Sunday, March 2, former Hempstead High School standout Lydia Ettema’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, won 15-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers.

The game took place at Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at Butler Softball Field against Butler Bulldogs.
