On Saturday, April 12, four former Hempstead High School standouts, including Cade Reisner, George Sherlock, Justin Potts and Ozzie Bakken’s current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, lost 12-9 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Wartburg Knights.

The game took place at Harms Stadium at Hertel Field. This was their third matchup against the Knights this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 1 p.m. at Daniels Park - Bill Quinby Field against Coe Kohawks.
