Friday, March 28: Hempstead High School standout Gracelyn Kemp’s college team wins to UIC Flames

On Friday, March 28, former Hempstead High School standout Gracelyn Kemp’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UIC Flames.

The game took place at Marian Kneer Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Flames this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 11:05 a.m. at Marian Kneer Stadium against UIC Flames.
