On Friday, March 28, former Hempstead High School standout Gracelyn Kemp’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 11-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UIC Flames.

The game took place at Marian Kneer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Flames this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 2:35 p.m. at Marian Kneer Stadium against UIC Flames.
