On Friday, March 21, former Hempstead High School standout Gracelyn Kemp’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 6-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place at Marian Kneer Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bruins this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Marian Kneer Stadium against Belmont Bruins.
