Saturday, March 1: Hempstead High School standout Lydia Ettema’s college team wins to Jacksonville Dolphins

On Saturday, March 1, former Hempstead High School standout Lydia Ettema’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Jacksonville Dolphins.

The game took place at Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Dolphins this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 10 a.m. at Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex against Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers.
