On Monday, Feb. 17, former Hempstead High School standout Logan Runde’s current college team, the FIU Golden Panthers, won 12-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stonehill Skyhawks.

The game took place at FIU Baseball Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Skyhawks this season.

The Golden Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Ballpark against Bethune–Cookman Wildcats.
