Saturday, Feb. 15: Hempstead High School standout Gracelyn Kemp’s college team loses to North Dakota State Bison

On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Hempstead High School standout Gracelyn Kemp’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Dakota State Bison.

The game took place at Nancy Almaraz Field. This was their first matchup against the Bison this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12:30 p.m. at Jim Frost Stadium against Indiana State Sycamores.
