Thursday, Feb. 6: Hempstead High School standout Gracelyn Kemp’s college team loses to South Florida Bulls

On Thursday, Feb. 6, former Hempstead High School standout Gracelyn Kemp’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the South Florida Bulls.

The game took place at USF Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulls this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 2:45 p.m. at USF Softball Stadium against Georgia Southern Eagles.
