On Thursday, December 21, former Oak Lawn High School standout, Johnny McGowan’s current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, won 71-58 in their NCAA D3 game against the Whitworth Pirates.

The game took place in Honolulu, Hawaii. This was the first matchup against the Whitworth Pirates this season.
