2021 has 4.3% of Jackson County residents unemployed

Jackson County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 425 people out of the 19,499 living in Jackson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Jackson County has decreased compared to the 5.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Jackson County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.9%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
