77.1% of Dubuque County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 98,687 citizens living in Dubuque County in 2021, 77.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 76,069 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 37,508 were male, constituting 49.3%, and 38,561 were female, making up 50.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Dubuque County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.7%.
