Event Description:

The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce will host Power Hour on December 7th, 8:00-9:00 AM at Hotel Julien Dubuque. Please note this is a week earlier than normal. We encourage you to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate at the event!

Bryce Parks will be sharing about Toys for Tots. Bryce has been the Coordinator of the Dubuque, Iowa Marine Corps Toys For Tots program for fifteen years, serving over 5,000 local children annually during the holidays. The program also supports Dubuque organizations and civic efforts year-round in a variety of ways.

In 2021 Bryce was recognized for running the National Toys For Tots Campaign of the Year, among over 830 programs serving millions of kids nationwide. For this he was awarded the Department of the Navy's Meritorious Service Citation in Washington D.C. this Fall, where he was invited to speak to the National Conference of Coordinators for a record third time.

When not playing with toys, Bryce owns 365ink Magazine, the Dubuque area's cultural and entertainment publication. He is also a musician, a three-time cancer survivor, and is married with a TOY poodle, of course.

Power Hour is held monthly from October through May for local business and community leaders to network with colleagues and peers while gaining valuable insight from informative presentations on today's hottest news topics. Powerful Presentations for Business and Personal Success.
