Hospice of Dubuque will host the Annual Tree of Life Memorial Service and Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, May 24. The service will be held in Washington Park, 700 Locust Street, at 7:30 pm. The evening will include a personal story of healing and hope, reflection, music, and the lighting of the tree. Each light on the display will represent a person remembered or honored. Lights will remain illuminated through Memorial Day. To recognize someone with a light on the Tree of Life, send a tax-deductible gift of any amount, along with their name, to 1670 JFK Road, Dubuque, IA 52002, or visit hospiceofdubuque.org.
All memorials, not only those served by Hospice of Dubuque, are welcome. To ensure your loved one is included in the printed program, donations must reach the Hospice of Dubuque office by Thursday, May 19. Funds received from this event help Hospice of Dubuque provide care, education, resources, and support to those facing a serious illness. Since 1983, Hospice of Dubuque has been the only nonprofit hospice in the tri-state area providing quality care night and day. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Joliet Event Center, 781 Locust Street. Rain or shine, bring a lawn chair.
