Regional Medical Center recently issued the following announcement.
Regional Medical Center (RMC) Parents as Teachers (PAT) provides support and education to foster children’s language, intellectual, social, and motor skill development.
This program is a free, grant-funded program serving Delaware County.
Tina Ostrader, Parent Educator, shares “PAT’s ultimate mission is to provide the information, support, and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life.”
In order to continue to assist, nurture and help grow the children in our community PAT is seeking donations to be used throughout the program.
Helpful items include new clothing, new toys, gas gift cards, food gift cards, hygiene supplies (deodorant, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc…) and monetary donations.
If you have any questions about donations, please reach out to PAT at 563-927-7551. Donations can be dropped off at RMC’s East Office Building, 613 West Main Street in Manchester or mailed to Regional Medical Center Parents As Teachers, PO Box 359, Manchester, IA 52057.
