Regional Medical Center recently issued the following announcement.
The Starmont volleyball team stopped at Regional Medical Center (RMC) to present a donation to go towards the Radiology Department and the pink support bags they create for local breast cancer patients.
These young ladies united and raised a total of $5,620.11 to give back to local women who are fighting one of their biggest battles.
“Over the years these young ladies have donated not only a monetary donation, they have donated their time and these efforts always bring smiles and warm hearts to our Radiology staff,” shared Megan Demmer, RMC Radiology Manager. “It is truly inspiring to see these young ladies unite and give back to such a wonderful cause. These funds will go towards the special items that fill our pink support bags which are given to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients.”
