Regional Medical Center recently issued the following announcement on September 14.
Currently, there is a nationwide shortage in rapid COVID-19 tests. Although this rapid testing shortage is also affecting our facilities, we want to ensure our community that we have adequate resources and testing supplies to test for COVID-19. However, please be patient as you may not receive the results as quickly as previously when rapid COVID-19 tests were in adequate supply.
We strive to do our best in prioritizing patients based on their presenting symptoms and exposure concerns to COVID-19. If you are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed, please contact your primary healthcare provider.
