Regional Medical Center issued the following announcement.
The Regional Medical Center (RMC) Auxiliary is pleased to announce three area graduates as recipients of $750 scholarships each.
Kara Orcutt, current University of Iowa student and 2018 Maquoketa Valley High School graduate, will continue at University of Iowa this fall, continuing studies in Radiation Sciences with the goal of receiving a Bachelor’s Degree, becoming certified in both X-ray and MRI. | |
Krista Ries, 2021 Maquoketa Valley High School graduate, will attend Hawkeye Community College this fall, where she will begin her studies in Dental Hygiene with a goal of obtaining a Dental Hygienist Degree with orthodontics certification. | |
Kielyn Tutton, current Des Moines University student and 2016 West Delaware High School graduate, will continue at Des Moines University this fall in the Physical Therapy program, with a goal of becoming a Licensed Movement and Rehabilitation Specialist. |
In awarding the scholarships to these students, the Auxiliary would like to acknowledge Kara, Krista, and Kielyn for their accomplishments to-date and wish them well as they continue their studies in preparation for healthcare careers.
