Dubuque median home prices rose by 4% in the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Dubuque rose by $6,000 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 177 homes sold, with a median sale price of $155,000 - a 4% increase over the $149,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 199 homes sold in Dubuque in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Dubuque for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,385, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
