Dubuque Mayor Roy D. Buol has released a State of the City address, which updates residents on events for fall 2020.
The report centers on the progress of significant infrastructure projects that began before the COVID-19 crisis halted progress in the city.
The address shares updates where the city is at regarding progress on the Bee Branch Creek railroad culverts project, the Roosevelt Street Water Tower project, the Southwest Arterial project and the Veterans Memorial Plaza plans.
Buol highlights in the report that while many of these projects have continued to go forward, amid the COVID-19 crisis, residents have been forced to put much of their life on hold.
“It is critical that we remain vigilant in our community’s response against COVID-19 and follow the guidance of our public health and infectious disease experts,” said Buol in a press release.
