Event Description:
The Hurstville Interpretive Center is going solar and we want you to join us! Friends of Jackson County Conservation is hosting a virtual solar event, Journey to the Sun, on Thursday, October 22 from 7:00-8:00 pm. The event will include information about the Center’s solar project, including financial and environmental benefits, and how the community can help support this project. Participants will also hear first-hand from members of our community who have installed solar for their home, farm or business. In addition, attendees will learn more about solar technology and the different aspects of this renewable energy resource. To register, call the conservation office at (563) 652-3783 or email Friends@JacksonCCB.com. A zoom link will be sent before the event to the email address you provide.
