53 percent of Loras College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 53 percent of Loras College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Loras College has 1,412 undergraduate students, of which 55 percent are men and 45 percent are women, and a total student body of 1,489 students. Of these students, 504 men and 285 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Loras College with the most participants are track and field, indoor (111), track and field, outdoor (105) and soccer (103).
