Iowa students paid $34,110 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $4,400 more than the $29,710 charged for 2017-18.
Data shows 94 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 474 students received grants or scholarships totaling $9.1 million and 425 students took out student loans totaling more than $5 million.
Including all undergraduates (2,385), 1,762 students used grants or scholarships totaling $31.5 million, and 1,569 students took out $13.3 million in federal student loans.
