73 percent of applicants to the University of Dubuque were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Dubuque, 82 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Dubuque enrolled 2,385 students in fall 2018, including 1,969 in undergraduate and 416 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

24 percent of undergraduates are residents of Iowa, and 68 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (61 percent) and Black or African American (16 percent).

The school admitted 73 percent of the 2,666 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 27 percent enrolled.
