Epworth home prices fall in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Epworth fell by $35,750 while total sales increased by 112.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $156,000 - a 18.6% decrease over the $191,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Epworth in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Epworth for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,627, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
