Dubuque County officials spot delays on COVID-19 results.
The Telegraph Herald reported that 886 people were tested for the disease late last month, but Visiting Nurse Association Executive Director Stacey Killian told the publication had received 366 results as the evening of May 26.
Killian added that LabCorps also experienced a slower than expected turnaround.
Dubuque County Board of Health Member Diane Pape-Freiburger said a friend who went to get tested at the time did not get her results back much to the frustration of the friend’s employer.
The county reportedly expressed interest in become a Test Iowa partners.
The County Board of Health approved lending support to such efforts.
