Gov. Kim Reynolds lessened COVID-19 restrictions, allowing some businesses to reopen with safety protocols in place, KCRG reported.

Gym owner Kimberly David is looking forward to reopening her business, True Fitness, after she had been worried Reynolds was not going to ease up on the restrictions, the news agency reported.

"We were hoping that was what she was going to say yesterday, so we got a little concerned that maybe she was going to move it out for a couple of more weeks," David told the news agency.

David also told the news agency she would be reopening on Saturday and that her members were looking forward to returning. To lessen fitness class numbers, the gym is adding in extra classes, as well as separating workout equipment and cleaning everything thoroughly.

Other businesses, like Shot Tower Inn, will also reopen. Its owner, James Kunnert, told the news agency that they were looking forward to welcoming customers back in for dining in. Kunnert told the news agency they had been training employees sanitizing, cleaning and distancing.
