City Building Closure Extended to at least May 15
The City of Dubuque is extending the closure of City buildings to at least May 15, in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Dubuque Mayor Roy D. Buol issued a proclamation on Wednesday, April 29, announcing that the following City locations will remain closed to public access until further notice:
City Hall
City Hall Annex
Leisure Services Department office at Bunker Hill Golf Course
Housing & Community Development Department in the Historic Federal Building
Municipal Services Center
Multicultural Family Center
City staff in these buildings, or working remotely, will continue to provide services to the public online, over the phone, and by mail.
Buol’s proclamation follows Gov. Reynolds extension of the State Public Health Emergency Declaration, which continues certain social distancing restrictions until 11:50 p.m. on Friday, May 15, in Dubuque County.
The City of Dubuque will continue to monitor the situation and make decisions that support public health and reduce the spread of COVID-19.
