City of Dubuque recently issued the following announcement.

City's FY2021 Budget Public Meeting and Hearing to be Held Virtually

Out of concern for public health and in accordance with social distancing guidelines, the remaining FY2021 budget public meeting and public hearing will be hosted "virtually" with City Council members and City staff participating by webinar.

The remaining public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m. and will include presentations from the following departments/divisions:

• Water
• Water & Resource Recovery Center
• Public Works
• Engineering

The public hearing to adopt the FY2021 City of Dubuque budget and five-year capital improvement program will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 23.

These virtual budget meetings will be aired live on CityChannel Dubuque (Mediacom cable channels 8 and 117.2), streamed live and archived on the City’s website at www.cityofdubuque.org/media, and streamed live on the City’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cityofdubuque.

The public is invited to provide input on the FY2021 budget prior to or during the meeting and hearing. Ways to provide questions or comments include:

• Prior to the meetings only, call 563.589.4322.
• Prior to or during the meetings, email budget@cityofdubuque.org.
• During the meetings, comment on the live video on the City’s Facebook page.
