85 More Cases in Iowa, One More in Dubuque County
The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has been notified of 85 additional positive cases of Iowans with COVID-19, for a total of 699 positive cases. There is one additional positive case of an older adult (61-80 years) in Dubuque County. There has been a total of 8,764 negative tests to date in Iowa. Volunteers Needed
Dubuque and all counties in Iowa utilize the Iowa Department of Public Health system to identify all types of health care professionals and professionals for other essential services to volunteer to support the pandemic emergency response. Volunteers will have the ability to decide travel distance and length of deployment. Based on the information provided, public health officials will identify and contact those individuals suited to fill the specific volunteer roles needed. Once contacted, volunteers will be given information about where they are needed, the duties they will perform, and the option to accept or decline the opportunity. Those interested in serving must first register at www.iaserv.org
