Holy Cross home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Holy Cross rose by $31,750 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $131,750 - a 31.8% increase over the $100,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were four homes sold in Holy Cross in 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Holy Cross for 2017 was $1,854. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,715. This marks an increase of 8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
