Cascade home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Cascade fell by $60,750 while total sales decreased by 41.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $97,750 - a 38.3% decrease over the $158,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Cascade in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Cascade for 2017 was $2,052. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,939. This marks an increase of 5.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
