Dubuque home prices fall in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Dubuque fell by $1,500 while total sales increased by 1.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were 106 homes sold, with a median sale price of $138,000 - a 1.1% decrease over the $139,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 104 homes sold in Dubuque in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Dubuque for 2017 was $2,385. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,324. This marks an increase of 2.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
