As a parent, navigating through illnesses with your children can be very scary. This winter season, there have been increased pediatric respiratory illnesses and hospitalizations including RSV and influenza. When a child is sick, it is important to suction their nasal passages to keep their airways as clear as possible.

We are pleased to share that the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County awarded Regional Medical Center a grant to help purchase nasal suctioning kits to give to parents of qualified patients. The support of the Foundation to help keep our children as healthy as possible is very much appreciated. By keeping a child’s airways open, it helps prevent hospitalization.

Please join us in thanking the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County for making a difference in our community and the lives of children and their families.
