Event Description: The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Power on Feb. 15th from 8-9 am at Hotel Julien Dubuque featuring Alex Baum and Anderson Sainci as they present, “Local Data, Household Costs, and Their Implication for Dubuque-Area Businesses.”

Alex Baum serves as the Director of Initiatives at the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque. In his role, he manages the Community Foundation’s collective impact work aimed at bringing about systemic change within the Community Foundation’s seven-county region.

Alex also leads the Community Foundation’s data and knowledge sharing efforts, the Project HOPE initiative focused on promoting economic opportunity, and an Immigration Needs Assessment directed at identifying opportunities to provide additional support for immigrant families.

Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Alex worked for over a decade as a policy and program specialist in areas ranging from international development to child wellbeing.  He received his undergraduate degree from Carleton College and holds a Masters in International Relations from Yale University.

Anderson Sainci serves as the Director of the Office of Shared Prosperity and Neighborhood Support for The City of Dubuque. He holds a Masters of Arts in Communication degree from the University of Dubuque.

Anderson has over nine years of leadership experience working in local government and 10-years in the private sector. He is an active leader on multiple boards on a local and state level including being elected on the Dubuque Community School Board.

Power Hour is held monthly for local business and community leaders to network with colleagues and peers while gaining valuable insight from informative presentations on today’s hottest news topics. Powerful Presentations for Business and Personal Success.
