Medline again has been named to Forbes America’s Best Large Employers list, this year moving to the 260 spot, up from 360 in 2022.

The 2023 list was chosen based on survey results from more than 45,000 employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in the U.S. Employees were anonymously asked to rank their company based on working conditions, salary potential, company image and other attributes. Respondents also were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family, and to identify and recommend other companies within their industry.

This year’s 500 Best Large Employers were chosen from more than 3,500 companies under consideration.

“At Medline, we know that our success is directly tied to our outstanding employees,” said Charlie Mills, chief executive officer at Medline. “We are honored to again be recognized on this respected list, and grateful to our employees and peers for their positive feedback.”

Medline is consistently recognized as a top workplace. In 2022, Forbes named Medline to its America’s Best Large Employers, America’s Best Employers for New Grads, America’s Best Employers for Women and America’s Best Employers by State lists. In addition, the Chicago Tribune named Medline a Top Workplace for the 12th year, honoring the company among other Chicago-area companies that successfully “recruit and retain the best employees while also cultivating loyalty.” More recently, Medline was named among America’s Greatest Workplaces 2023 for Diversity by Newsweek.
