City of Dubuque recently issued the following announcement.

City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 23, and Friday, Dec. 24, for the Christmas holiday and on Thursday, Dec. 30, and Friday, Dec. 31, for the New Year holiday. This includes City Hall and other City offices and facilities.

There is no change to the City’s curbside collection of trash and recycling for the Christmas and New Year holidays. The Dubuque Metropolitan Landfill will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
 
The Jule Transit will not operate on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Parking meter expiration violations will not be enforced on these holidays.
 
The Carnegie-Stout Public Library will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
 
For non-emergency issues during City office closures, please call 563-589-4415. In the case of an emergency, always call 9-1-1.
