City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2022, for the Memorial Day holiday. This includes City Hall and other City offices and facilities.

There will be no refuse, yard waste, or curbside recycling collections by City crews on Memorial Day (Monday, May 30). These collections will be made instead on the preceding Saturday (May 28) and must be set out by 6 a.m. The Dubuque Metro Landfill will also be closed all day on Memorial Day.

The Jule, Dubuque’s public transit system, will not operate on Memorial Day. Parking meter expiration violations will not be enforced on Memorial Day either.

The Carnegie-Stout Public Library will also be closed on Sunday, May 29, and May 30 for the Memorial Day holiday.

For non-emergency issues during City office closures, please call 563-589-4415. In the case of an emergency, always call 911.
